When I decided to register my son in a basketball camp, it was important that my son enjoy the experience. I wanted to select a program that would teach him the proper techniques, the art of teamwork and encourage hard work and discipline. It was also important for me to find a coach who was passionate about teaching as well as playing the game. I found everything that I wanted and so much more at the Merrick Palmer Basketball School.  Merrick was very dedicated to the students and he ensured that each one of them received individualized training.  I was quite pleased with Merrick's program and would highly recommend this basketball camp. Merrick Palmer’s Basketball School is the real deal! Basketball is my son’s favorite sport and he is always looking to advance his skill development. Merrick teaches good fundamentals that will give your child the foundation to become a good basketball player. His program focuses on each player as an individual and their respective development. He shows such dedication and excellence in the game and is a positive role model for all children. My son continues to practice the ball handling skills he learned in order to improve his game and is looking forward to the opportunity to attend Merrick's school again to enhance his skills even further.

We would be remiss if I did not take the time to let you know how much your Merrick Palmer Basketball School has impacted our children.  We registered both of our sons, Tyson and Tyler in the program not knowing what to expect.  My husband and I attended the first meeting and were impressed with your basketball leadership skills and can only described them as ‘impactful’.  We were so glad to receive your open invitation for parents to stay at the practices so they could see their children perform.  From your drills, to your one-on-one coaching to each individual child it clearly demonstrates your dedication and commitment to excellence.  It is infused throughout the entire practice.  Your dedication to each child is magnified as you push them to achieve a higher level of basketball skill.  We saw a huge improvement not only in the basketball skills of both Tyson and Tyler, but also in their understanding of the game, their confidence and most of all in the pure enjoyment they received from playing their best.  We as a family truly thank you for taking the time to care, to coach and to give back.  We anxiously await the dates for your next camp.

After experiencing two instalments of your Basketball School I really feel that we need to express to you how much we appreciate and have benefited from you and your commitment to bring basketball skills in children to a higher level.  Our son Brandon was inspired from the get go once he read about your professional career.  You represent the type of role model that any parent would like their child to identify with.  I stayed and watched several of your practices and I cannot think of enough accolades to comment on the calibre of your skills development, commitment, encouragement and the love of the game that you inspire in your students.  Brandon has been playing basketball for over 6 years and nothing compares to the level of technical and physical basketball skills that he has acquired in your camps.  Your drills are challenging and fully comprehensive.  The level of performance and respect you draw from each student is unmatched by any camp that we have tried in the past.  This is where I feel your professional career gives you a true edge.  Brandon improved in his basketball skills and at the same time he has learned more about the game, teamwork and fun.   I just wanted to say thank you for being a great coach and a conduit for basketball skill development in our community.
